Ivarson Chip Machines

Machines constructed of stainless steel where machine contacts paper and product. Base and adjustable legs are stainless steel. Other framing is anodized aluminum. Bearings sintered bronze. Conveyor belt is Nylon or other suitable material. 2 HP motor for Chip and 3HP for Sheet with variable speed drive to synchronize machine speed to product flow rate.

  • Both machines connect directly to closed system scraped surface heat exchanger or continuous butter churn.
  • Metering pump desirable in certain applications.
  • Special handling equipment is required for butter from batch churns, cube butter and other bulk products.
  • Chip machines have mechanical or electronic speed control. Sheet machines are furnished with SCR control for DC motor, or AC adjustable frequency motor drive.
  • With suitable flow metering device, electronic control machines can be furnished with external signal control to automatically synchronize machine speed to product flow rate.
