The reliable BENHIL filling and folding technology is suitable for wrapping pasty products with most different consistencies. The product is filled into a preformed wrapper bag, subsequently folded, and calibrated. This filling and wrapping technology is the only one to guarantee safe and sharp-edged packaging for solid and very soft consistencies. The wrapping material may be parchment, aluminum-laminated foil, plastic-coated material, or plastic foil. Most machines are suitable for packing brick sizes, some also for special formats such as sticks, rolls, or oval packets. The multi-size machines offer quick and easy format changeover, either by replacing a complete set of size parts or by adjusting the packet height only.
The tub filling and closing machine COPPARAPID 8270 is designed in balcony construction which physically separates the product area (front of the machine) from the kinetics (rear of the machine). This avoids contamination of the filling zone with lubricants etc. and guarantees a high hygienic standard. Both the product and the drive areas are easily accessible, ensuring ergonomic operation as well as easy cleaning and maintenance. The sliding doors, which open upwards, underline this aspect. According to the product requirements the Copparapid 8270 can be equipped with servo-driven product specific dosing devices.

This machine type is a fully automatic wrap-around cartoner for miniportions. Configurations of 2 and more cubes can be packed into carton blanks. By means of a transport conveyor, the cubes are fed in 1 or more lanes to the cartoning machine, collated according to the preselected configuration, and stacked in 1 to 3 layers. The flat carton blanks are stackwise fed to the magazine of the machine, taken out individually, and folded around the preformed block of cubes. Carton closing options are cold glueing of the longitudinal side and tuck-in of the end flaps, or hotmelt closing, or a tamper evident closure. One machine can be equipped for several carton sizes. The Cartomat 8554 can be combined with and driven by the filling and wrapping machine Multipack 8358, or it can be delivered with an individual drive. The Cartomat 8550 as inverse machine version is working from left to right with operation on the right side. Due to the new servo drive technology, this cartoner can be equipped for 3 layer sizes. Depending on the configuration, it is particularly suitable for working in line with the high speed miniportion packaging machine Minipack 8387.

This fully automatic wrap-around cartoner was designed to pack sticks, bricks, or filled boxes into dispensers, trays, or wrap-around cartons. The flat carton blanks are stackwise fed to the magazine of the machine, taken out individually, and introduced into the folding wheel. Packets are fed by a transport conveyor and positioned in the preformed carton by means of an elevating and feeding system. The carton is closed stepwise by tucking in the end flaps or subsequently glued using hotmelt. This machine is particularly suitable for long carton sizes and configurations with 1 or 2 layers. The Cartomat 8563 working from right to left usually is combined with the filling and wrapping machine Multipack 8360 for high speed stick packaging, the Multipack 8366 works in line with the Cartomat 8562 (left to right). All standard stick sizes and configurations can be produced. If combined with another filling machine, the Cartomat 8562 / 8563 has its individual drive.

This cartoner automatically collates and stacks filled and closed tubs or packets which are fed from the packaging machine. The machine operator has to dress the tubular carton and tilt it over the filling frame. The prepared block of tubs or packets is pushed through the frame into the carton (side-loading principle). The filled carton has to be closed by hand and pushed onto the roller off-conveyor. All machine movements are pneumatically driven. The machine is extremely versatile with regard to the number of layers.

Type 8529 is the collating and stacking machine for the standard German butter size and the usually packed 10 kg cartons. Packets are automatically collated and stacked, then the operator has to dress the tubular carton and tilt it over the block of packets which is waiting in the filling shoe. By automatically turning round the filling shoe, the carton glides onto the deposit where the flaps are manually closed and glued. Type 8529 usually is combined with the filling and wrapping machine Multipack 8380.

This flexible cartoner is available in 2 different versions, as bottom loader and as side loader. Packets or tubs can be collated and stacked in different configurations and numbers of layers. The operator has to dress the tubular carton and to tilt it over the prepared block of packets or tubs, respectively over the filling frame. The carton flaps are manually closed and the carton is manually removed from the deposit. On demand, the deposit can be replaced by a roller conveyor for further transport of the filled carton for example to a carton glueing unit.
